FargoV MLAS NLA PIN wasps




We have an array of events for all, coming up across Coventry, Warwickshire and Birmingham this spring. This month’s events include concerts and game nights for students, activities for all of the family as well as ongoing landlord events across the midlands.

PIN MEETING (Property Investors Network)

Thursday 7th April

This PIN meeting will be held in Birmingham at the Hotel Novotel. There will be discussions of ways for Landlords to save money on refurbs and repairs and also how you can transfer your pension fund in Property.

NLA COVENTRY (National Landlords Association)

Tuesday 12th April

During this NLA Meeting, there will be discussions in the following topics; Buying at auctions, Electrical safety and PAT requirements. The meeting will then follow with the most up-to-date latest news for Landlords.

PIN MEETING (Property Investors Network)

Tuesday 12th April

At the Coventry PIN Meeting this month, Nick Watchorn and Paul Hilliard will be informing guests about ‘The right way to save money and time for landlords’. The Homemaker Properties team will also be presenting a lettings update.Attendees include Landlords, Property Investors and local Estate Agents. This meeting is to be held at the Coventry Village Hotel on Dolomite Avenue.

MLAS WORKSHOP (Midland Landlord Accreditation Scheme)

Wednesday 20th April

The Midland Landlord Accreditation Scheme are holding a property workshop for Landlords, Property Investors and Estates Agents in discussion of “How to manage a HMO (House of Multiple Occupancy) legally!” The workshop is due to be held at Birmingham City University.



Sunday 3rd April

Playing at their home ground, Ricoh Arena, Wasps are to play against local team Northampton Saints as they approach their final few games of the season. With Northampton only 7 points behind in 4th place, this could be an interesting game.


Saturday 9th April

Leading up to the final few, Wasps are up against Exeter Chiefs to battle it out for the first place in the League. Currently standing in 3rd Place, Wasps need to get a total of 4 Points to take over Exeter Chiefs in second position and Saracens in first place raining in a total of 63 Points. Our fingers will be tightly crossed for the Wasps!


Thursday 14th April

Fancy something a little bit different? Why not have a mooch around Fargo Village at the wonderful vintage boutiques, arts & craft workshops and coffee shops, including the No1 tea room ‘Bubble Boba Tea House’ as voted for by the public.  The retro game night is due to be held at The Big Comfy Book Shop in Fargo Village and include the classic Sega, Nintendo and many more!


Tuesday 19th April

This star studded event supports a local charity call Bethany’s Wish, which was set up following the devastating loss of 8 year-old Bethany after battling Wilms Tumor. Come along and join TV personality Emma Jesson and Free Radio Breakfast Presenter JD along with many more celebrities as they host this spectacular event. Celebrations include the most courageous and inspiring people within our region and will feature an array of entertainment including live music.


Friday 22nd April & Saturday 23rd April

Join the Festival! Across the two-days there will be Live Music from local vocalists and bands, Craft Gin’s, Market Stall’s which include a variety of clothing stalls, craft stalls and food stalls. The festival is located within Fargo Village and great for all of the family! With arts and craft stores, vintage clothing stores and unique coffee shops situated within the area, the kids couldn’t possibly get bored!


Friday 29th April

Performing Live in the Jaguar Hall at the Ricoh Arena, Jess Glynne supported by the new and upcoming band of the year Ekkah. Consisting of two young ladies from Birmingham, Ekkah have also recently supported Clean Bandit with their Post-Disco-80s-RnB sound. Chart-topping Jess Glynne on the other hand is well-known for many of her chart-topping songs including ‘My Love’ featuring Route 94, ‘Rather Be’ featuring Clean Bandit and ‘Hold My Hand’.
