January’s Coventry PIN meeting saw Homemaker Properties’ Commercial Director, Kevin McMullan kick off the first lettings update of the year with interesting statistics regarding Tenants and Landlords.
Statistics were provided by HomeLet and included;
- 71% of tenants rent through a letting agent, compared to 29% who rent directly with a Landlord
- Where tenants first saw the property they currently rent
- 54% of renters are NOT saving for a deposit
- What factors tenants considered important when choosing a rental home
- The top reasons why Landlords use a Letting Agent for a fully managed service
The statistics are a great insight into what investors and landlords should take into consideration when buying and marketing their properties for rent.
A big thank you to everyone that has attended the first PIN meeting of the year, it is a fantastic networking event that the Homemaker Properties team is proud to be a part of. We’re delighted to be a part of so many people’s property journeys.
